  42. before our next meeting.

  52. The enclosed document from Iomega is not confidential but Iomega wants to know 
  53. who has received copies. The CAM Committee hs been granted a copy license on 
  54. the proviso that the names of those on distribution will be supplied upon 
  55. request.

  60. Additional material was supplied by Optotech for distribution but there was no 
  61. presentation made on it.

  63. The meeting vacillated between describing and debating implementations and 
  64. models. At times it was very confusing.
  65.  
  66. It is essential that the committee define a model, a syntax, and a glossary. 
  67. This is going to be the main focus of the next meeting.
  68.  
  69. Clint Ballard at Ballard Synergy has accepted the action to expand his 
  70. material to incorporate many of the additional and complementary concepts 
  71. which came up during the meeting. 
  72.  
  73. Rick Tewell is going to make a quick pass at an implementation of the concepts 
  74. described to see if a demonstration of functionality can be made at the next 
  75. meeting. 
  76.  
  77. The next meeting is going to be hosted by Western Digital at the Red Lion in 
  78. Costa Mesa. It will be held on January 12, following the SCSI-2 Working Group. 
  79. Please make reservations immediately if not before. The hotels fill up fast in 
  80. that area and there is bound to be an early cutoff date (we do not know what 
  81. it is yet - Bruce is still nailing down the final details).

  83. The primary task on January 12 is to define a model and a glossary of terms to 
  84. lock us in on a syntax that will reduce confusion. 
  85.  
  86. Implementors who feel they can contribute to the effort are still welcome, but 
  87. presentrations on implementations will be clearly identified as for 
  88. information only, and be made after the model discussions. 
  89.
